Yep, I'm the mrsmiley nerd from the Halo 2 documentary DVD! I've been an avid Bungie fan since before Halo, and have been involved in various fan projects over the years:
• Halo Babies Web Comic (Archived at: halobabies.bungie.org)
• Master Chief Theater 3000 Machinima Series (You can find some episodes on YT, but most were lost when Machinima died)
• The Bungie Fanfest Documentary (Found on this channel)
