About Ace Arty

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Brooklyn, Ace Arty is an artist with the talent and tools to bridge the gap between cultures and genres. Exposed early in his life to popular Bachata and Merengue songs by his parents, Ace gained an appreciation for music from his birthplace and began to explore music on his own. Recalling his first bout of genuine inspiration at 7 years old, Ace says, “I remember my older cousin watching BET - Jermaine Dupri and Jay Z’s "Money Ain’t a Thang" came on - I thought to myself, this is the best shit I ever heard!” Not long after that, Ace was introduced to Biggie’s “Mo Money Mo Problems” and instantly knew that he was going to spend the rest of his life making music. His songs can be described as fun and melodic, but inclusive of the witty-wordplay that makes Brooklyn rappers special.
