Howdy! My name is Gunnar. I'm a game developer. And a dad!

I work on the business/finance-side of the game industry. I used to work as a game designer, engineer, and inventor (I sold my first patent at 21).
And I've run industry events and game jams with as many as 200 participants.

I love to play beginner and student games on itch.io and elsewhere to give them some love, exposure, and critique from a game developer's perspective. If you have a game of yours you'd like me play, please leave a comment!

I also create gamedev tutorials and give game design lectures. If you have a topic you'd like covered or a game you'd like to see made in a tutorial, let me know! I'm primarily creating GameMaker tutorials at this time but I've used all kinds of game engines and languages in my day and am happy to cover whatever is requested!
