I was of Chinese descent (possibly Hakka). The first generation all began from my late great-grandfather, Liem A Sioe, who was born in January 25, 1887 in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. Around 1900s-1910s, he migrated to City of Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, where he started work as a spice merchant then married and fathered 16 sons and daughters, included my late paternal grandfather named Setya Dwiwana Lengkey (11th or 12th child) alongside his late twin brother, Suwarno Lengkey. Originally my family name is “林” (“Liem” in Indonesian) and it converted into Lengkey since my late grandfather and his siblings.
