About Progkast

Progkast is an all independent Prog Rock podcast, produced by Julie Sanchez (Ex DJ, KUNM radio, and currently KTAL-LP Radio). I cull music from several different online sources, contact the artists for permission to play on Progkast, and put together a new show, usually, every month. Progkast is in it's 8th year. The show has been in hiatus off and on, but now I am back and producing shows regularly. Progkast is unique in that it is ONLY independent artists, and also artists signed to small labels. This is NOT a "chit chat" show. This is a MUSIC show. I play the music, and briefly tell you about the music/musicians, then play more. It's all about the music.
