Hi, I'm Greg. I am a nerd living in Japan. I was born and raised in Arizona. I created a homepage for myself in 1996 focused on my thoughts and my hobbies and named it after my pet fish named Steve I had in college.

I started this channel in 2008 and it is focused on my life and hobbies: plastic models, video games, collectible figures, anime, manga, science fiction & fantasy, Japanese snacks, Japan travel, etc. As with my homepage, this is also an outlet for sharing life experiences, thoughts, etc.

Being a modeler living in Japan, I introduce the Japanese modeling scene to the international, English-speaking world. I use Japanese words to shorten video titles. Common nomenclature used:
plamo = plastic model kit
sofubi = soft vinyl model kit
gareki= resin garage kit
