I grew up in Yankee Hill CA, a small mountain community with a rich history of mining. An estimated 100,000 ounces of gold was pulled out of the ground here and I always wanted a piece of that. Now at 42 I find my self just over the hill in Paradise CA where the 54 pound nugget was found! After dealing with the loss of our house and town in the Paradise Campfire and then covid-19, I decided to spend more time in the hills looking for the shiny. I don't find a lot of gold in every video, we are always trying new ways to find gold and they don't always work out, but when they do its a great feeling. I hope you enjoy getting to see where I live and play. Maybe one day I will move that 1 bolder that has my home hiding under it, but until that day we are having a lot of fun getting off the couch.
