Nova currently operates a private practice. She is a well qualified licensed clinician and social worker. She specializes in helping her clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, antisocial personality disorders, addiction, behavior issues with young teens, intimate partner violence, self-esteem issues, teen violence, trauma, perinatal mood disorders, postpartum disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She also frequently assists parents on the management of their teens struggles. She uses a variety of approaches to help clients based on their personal needs, including: CBT, motivational interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Problem Solving Therapy (PST). She works with individuals, couples, and families in an outpatient setting. In addition to providing counseling services, she also helps clients by promoting growth, independence, and integration into the community for each client.
