I have lived here in a beautiful part of the south-west of Western Australia where the bush meets the ocean for 27 years. In that time I have raised children, delighted in the antics of chickens, planted a semi-permaculture garden and, various fruit vines and trees in the effort to be self sufficient. In 2007 I cut down the grape vines, gave the chickens to a good home and mowed down the vegetable garden when I decided to go to University. I was up to my eyeballs in study and assignments!!
It seemed to take forever to graduate. Now that I have, it’s time to get back to doing what I love; pottering around the garden, planting and landscaping, living more sustainably and sharing the skills I have learned along the way. Join me in my journey.
