The kids tell me I’m pan, but I have no hooves. He/him/they is fine. I’m not straight, or gay, or bi..?.. I don’t feel strongly about these things tbh. My minimum rule for friendship is you not be a bigot.

I’m a Marxist: no orthodoxy, no dogma, no “tendency”. I reject “identity reductionism” (race, gender, etc), as seriously as I reject “class reductionism”, and essentialism. I try to think critically, dialectically, systematically, and I fail.

I’m some kind of Christian mystic, very anti-fundamentalist. There’s no contradiction between being a Christian and Marxist, and/or with being serious about critical thinking. Faith is NOT an epistemic tool/approach.

We ALL must learn to respect and forgive each other, or humanity is screwed. The left NEEDS love, openness, and discipline to work hard towards collective goals, or we’re doomed to reproduce repressive tendencies.
