acaciashine tries her best to be an extremely upbeat, friendly cat who accepts everyone regardless of background. she always has the best intentions in her heart, and she remains hopeful even in stressful circumstances or when her anxiety gets the best of her. she takes what she is told at face value— she doesn’t hide behind lies or complicated words, so she doesn’t assume anyone else does either, and she’s very trusting for better or for worse. this also means she’s very honest, though this is to a fault at times when she can be too honest without realizing it. she prefers everyone to say exactly what they’re thinking, even if it’s not great, to her, so she thinks everyone both will do so and will appreciate her doing so.
she is rather shy, but loves the opportunity to make friends, though she is usually very awkward about it. once acaciashine gets talking, she often doesn’t stop for a while, especially if it’s on a topic she’s very interested in and knowledgeable about. though most underestimate her brain because of her lack of social knowledge, acaciashine is very intelligent in a “book-smarts” sort of way. she has an obsession with how things SHOULD be, and because of this she is extremely orderly. however, it sometimes tips over into overbearing as she tries to get others to do things how she sees as right, too. if things don’t go that way or get out of order, she can become very upset.
acaciashine is often described as creative, which also comes with her being a bit easily distracted. even doing things she’s extremely interested in, she can get distracted and often gets frustrated with herself. she’s also, as mentioned, generally very anxious even though she tries to push past it and have an optimistic outlook. others sometimes describe her as dramatic for the sometimes odd things that push her past the edge and into shutdowns or meltdowns, where she often is too upset/overwhelmed to really process her surroundings well or sometimes speak. though the catalysts often seem odd, they’re massive in acaciashine’s eyes.
another reason for her being described as dramatic is because she had to learn by watching others how to properly express emotions, as when she was younger her face was much more blank regardless how she was actually feeling. because of this, she overcompensates and is extremely expressive, performing her expressions almost like a cartoon character. it tends to throw people off, though she thinks she’s doing a good job.

— blue on fur is “paint”/“makeup” using crushed berries!! it can be any color and any pattern, but she favors blue
