Dawn is a cinematic project that challenges the limits of the Scratch programming system to the extreme through real-time rendering. This project executes code involving thousands of blocks per second and demands significant computational power.
In my experience with Scratch, I often came across graphics that were of low quality. Occasionally, I would see high-quality graphics, but they took a significant amount of time to render and couldn't be executed in real-time. This motivated me to create Dawn.
Dawn was created to implement 'high-level graphics' in 'real time'. To do this, I did extreme optimization and achieved a feature that other scratchers would have implemented with over 3000 blocks, with only 1360 blocks.
Furthermore, various experimental technologies were put into Dawn to realize various and realistic graphics. Notable examples include the Opticist Glow Shader 2 and a modified 3D Engine.
