"Amelia!" My mother shouted from downstairs, "We're going to miss our flight to Boston if you don't hurry up"

"Maybe I don't even want to leave, have you ever thought of that?!" Yep, that's me. Amelia. Amelia Adelgran. Let me make one thing clear, Manhattan is my home, not some seaside town in Maine. My life is here, my friends, my home. I can't leave. My mom can't make me. There's no way.

"Jet Blue flight A1013 is now boarding group C" The overhead speaker in JFK announced. My mom pushed me forward.
