Been a while since I've made one of these but they're really fun. If I can keep the individual segments short then frankly I can do one of these with any franchise I want. Mario could be a challenge, not sure how fast I'd have to go to fit all of that in. Fun challenge though.

I have a soft spot for Twilight Princess. Something about the enemy design, darker tone, and nostalgia really stuck with me. The Darknuts in Twilight Princess remain one of my favorite enemies in Zelda games.

Fun fact/theory for Wind Waker: Wind Waker link might be the only Link to break the cycle as he wasn't a chosen hero. He wasn't born the hero he earned it by repairing the master sword and reassembling the triforce of courage.

Disagree or not it’s hard to rank this many 10/10 games Let’s not fight about which is better, they all great 👍

Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, and Twilight Princess make an excellent Zelda trilogy.

Twilight Princess may be my favorite, but wind waker will always hold a special place in my heart for being the first Zelda game I ever beat. Seriously, Nintendo, re-release wind waker and twilight princess on the switch!
  • @mmems30
Spirit tracks has a place in my heart. I don't know if it is the character design, the plot, or even the train trips, it has something that makes it the best zelda game I've ever played and the first one I beat.

I love twilight princess the most and probably always will.
  • I’ve always loved skyward sword, to the point that I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite in the series, closely followed by botw and link between worlds
  • I honestly liked phantom hourglass a lot more than spirit tracks. I played it first and it always stuck out as more original than spirit tracks. I really liked the temple of the ocean king, and the overall creation of the phantom sword. ( finally beating able to kill the phantoms is one of the most satisfying things in any zelda game.) That being said, Byrne is still one of my second favorite character in the entire franchise. What’s more is his awesome design and interesting developments.

It’s always refreshing to see someone else’s takes on the Zelda games. Growing up, most fans got an earful of “OOT or MM is the best in the franchise and if you disagree you’re wrong.” But it’s really refreshing seeing love going into the other games like LTTP and Minish Cap! Also brownie points for putting Wind Waker, my all time favorite, at #2. Thanks for that! <3

OoT and Majora’s Mask are kinda like the video game equivalent of “A New Hope” and “The Empire Strikes Back” for me. I know the sequel is is the superior one in it’s medium but the first title made SUCH an impression on me (OoT, though not my first game, was the game that made me love video games) that I’d choke on my words if I tried to say any other title was my favorite.
  • I think “A Link to the Past ,” is the best, maybe it’s just my nostalgia for the game, but it is always one of my favorites to replay.

Twilight Princess is my jam! Great dungeons, and very fun to play.

i love twilight princess for it’s sense of adventure with the hyrule field music and just feeling like a badass in general but ocarina of time was the first zelda game i finished and it was so fun i beat it twice
  • @ScottReika
Bless you for calling my name on this one, Will. That's a lot of history and a metric ton of nostalgia for me. It feels a bit blasphemous I've not gotten to Breath of the Wild yet, but I absolutely will. I can't say I've played...or even was aware of all these; only most. Of COURSE, there were more Tingle games...of course.
  • @fullofcool
Even if I disagree with the placement, this was still an amazing video. The way you treated the list as a casual critique and analysis with seamless transitions from one game to the next instead of a listicle format, is commendable.
  • @Slashstar314
I've forgotten how chaotic Zelda game comment sections can get. That's what I love about Zelda is how much it explores different themes yet becomes consistent and classic games.
  • @K1000Master
My favorites in the franchise are ocarina of time and skyward sword. I just love their stories, so much.
  • @Only-Bonks
Skyward Sword was my first ever Zelda game Still to this day is the music, battle mechanics and story mesmerise me and I no matter how many times I play the game I've never gotten bored of it. The motion controls for me worked well and work even better in the remake so its truly a delight to play
