Things like this will encourage people to become vigilantes if the authorities refuse to deal with bad people

This happened in my country of origin too (The Netherlands if anyone is wondering, year 2021 if I remember correctly), a well know investigative journalist got attacked by a gang that he was/had investigated and, less than a day later died because of this attack.

Yeah, as someone who lives in NSW, listening to Jordan say, “You win” literally brought me to tears. He’s a better man than any of our politicians.

Fun fact: Jordan's statement came out the same day it was announced that former NSW premier Kristina Keneally's cop son didn't get jail time for wrongfully imprisoning an activist using falsified evidence he wrote himself, despite prosecutors pushing hard for sentencing to reflect the severity of the crime. He just has a 15 month correction order, 200 hours community service, and a $2000 fine for putting an innocent person in jail for three weeks because he lied. The only reason the activist was released was because he recorded the phone conversation the cop lied about without his knowledge.

I don't think it's just in New South Wales, I've been involved in physical and mental abuse from Ipswich, Queensland for several years, the police and my school were fully aware of this situation but chose to fully ignore my several requests to deal with this. The people in question, noted I was 10-17 at the time, literally thrashed me to the ground, full on punched me, repeatedly tormented me with very hurtful language, gave me very little sleep time (even on school days), make me pay $40 per week to take me to work (pay was only $200-$250) and warned that if I told anybody about this, they would end my life. It sounds a bit over dramatic, but in 2018, one of them even pulled out a kitchen knife and ran straight at me, like a maniac. I managed to run away to my grandparents house, but then after a while, the police took me home and gave ME a warning, even though I told them what had happened. Then, in 2021, one of them repeatedly "asked" to borrow some of my money (when I meant asked I mean violently forcing me to take money out of my account), on top of not feeding me. I had to resort to stealing food from woolworths to literally stop myself from starving to death. They saw that, and encouraged me to continue this trend, this time, at Big W, with vacuum cleaners, headphones e.g. And if that's not enough, you haven't heard "May 7th, 2022" At this point, I took the bus from school to work because I was fed up with this "$40 tax" bs. It was going to be a normal day (running to the only bus that will take me to work on time, which left right after I arrived). I worked my normal shift (shout-out to my managers, they are cool fr), and traveled home on the last bus for the day. I ended back home at 7pm, was attempting to do normal chores when all of a sudden they came up to me and started mentally tormented me AGAIN for absolutely no reason. I decided I had enough and, what seemed to be the worst and best moment of my life, I fought the battle of my life for my freedom. I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to put these mfs to jail, so I called the police. they searched the house and FOUND TONS OF MARIJUANA in the garage. Guess what? History repeats itself. They said that I was in the wrong for knocking down a women... :/ Wouldn't enforce anything because "I was special needs", and told me to live at my grandparents house until "things have settled down". Nope, I was out of here. Booked a flight out of the country and have (and will never) return since. (btw over that course, I talked online to child abuse support and they helped send over several domestic abuse reports to them, but seemed to been declined everytime, probably by the same people who came over that night). Despite it being obvious, I'm not telling who it is in spite of safety concerns, but for a force that's supposed to help people, this is ridiculous.

"Congratulations, you run this city" is such a bleak and powerful line. Also I like bears. Bears are cool.
  • I remember hearing about a dude who exposed a traffic light in low to middle class neighborhoods that would be rigged to get parking tickets racked up, the person who discovered this had several attempts on his life by the government of that city

I have seen the video being shared amongst hundreds of large scale Twitter accounts, there are definitely more people looking at this video now and people in Australia are starting to ask questions and cause a fuss. It has had the exact opposite effect the "bad guys" wanted. It's fun to watch them spaz and not know what to do now... Stay safe Moist, you never know they might start looking at you because you're bringing attention to it.

Sincerely, thank you for speaking out about this. Our media outlets are barely reporting about this or any other corruption related issues and are more concerned reporting about some random missing white lady daily for the past week (note: australia has 38,000 missing people yearly that get 0 media coverage). Most of the public have no clue about this issue and there is no pressure on our politicians and police as a result.

My mate whistleblew on child abuse in the foster care system. It was embarrassing to the government. She was threatened with jail time and lost her job. The journalist reporting on it did two stories then was quietly told to drop the story. The paper wouldn't publish it any more. So she did.
  • @Offroader210
When Jordan said that New South Wales was rotten to the core, he really meant it.
  • @Scurvy_Soso
Sounds to me like it's time for a reboot of killdozer
  • @redline1916
Live in a city state, die by the city state. This isn't surprising, and ever since I was raised in NJ I had known about the blatant corruption and outright assassination attempts on people here. My family knew, but had never bothered to leave and just accepted the painful 'bliss' that is ignorance. I had always been told, "There is no point, they have all the power."
  • You didn’t even reach the bone chilling quote from the video “We have learned that there is a currency far more dependable than the dollar. And that is terror”
  • @zanmaru139
They can force a LOCAL man to take down a video, but can they force people outside of Australia to do it? I highly doubt it.
  • @cobymccarthy1581
As someone from nsw this is more truthful than id like to admit. The amount of corruption and power tripping ive seen the police wield has given me a deep seated grudge against any bureaucrat ive come across.
