I really like the scene where tifa basically asked cloud on a date and even asked him to wear matching clothes to which cloud blatantly agrees immediately. To other character, when female character tries to flirt or even so much as to ask cloud for a date or call him 'my hero', clouds just just sigh/stare away/call them desperate. Yet for tifa, he is doing a lot of the subtle flirting himself lmao. Like giving her flowers, saying 'beautiful' while staring at her and making her blush, trying to impress her and play nice when he asks him to, plays hero and hugs her down the train. Not to mention the little jealous scene where the merchant says if cloud ever need a replacement as tifa's debt collector, he can always fill in to which cloud disgustedly says "in your dreams!". They even have a theme song which plays everytime they seemingly starts getting affectionate to each other. Plus, Cloud is an outcast and very distant but he is willing to do everything outside his comfort zone for tifa like making an effort of being more social/nice to people when tifa asked him to, help avalanche multiple times despite saying it's just for money, offer to help tifa get money for free even if she still owes him, refusing to leave even after he gets his money because tifa was in a 'tight situation', agree to crossdress to help tifa from Don corneo. Tifa is the first and only girl cloud has ever tried to flirt willingly lmao
