For naval invasion, to make it quicker. Just manually select divions, and prepare a naval invasion. For example, for 24 divions, you should have 24 different invasion plans. You will be done in 7 days as opposed to a year, and it works the exact same

small bomb bays are actually much better for CAS than the anti tank cannon 1, the level 2 one is much better than both cause is does 15 ground attack, but the level one does 8 ground attack, which is the same as the small bomb bay, but the small bomb bay weighs significanty less and im pretty sure is cheaper too. Also use small bomb bays over the bomb locks, cause the latter only does 6 ground attack.

France can also get decent CAS, they have a focus that gives 15% attack bonus if I remember correctly. You also have the resources to mass produce them
