Both games look really interesting. I don't see how a Japanese dub with English text is a bad thing though, I think it adds to the charm of the game and goes well with the anime aesthetic.

Dragonforce. Ahh, good memories. I remember how I bought this gem. Went into a local FuncoLand, and it was in their arcade and started playing it. An hour passed (I didn't even realize). I called over to the sales associate and said "I need this. I'm buying it now"

The most memorable part of Dragon Force was buying it off ebay during the summer of 2000 and playing it for 16 hours straight. I resold it on ebay a couple years later for 150 bucks and can't look at the price now as I am sure it is going for thousands!

I almost never replay RPGs, but Dragon Force was so fun I ended up beating it with every character. Twice.

Emperor Junon and the land of Tristan are the first nation i played and beat Dragon Force 1 with and I adored the gameplay.

Best series of all time. Definitely a system seller. Unfortunately Sega was more interested in marketing garbage games back then, than the system sellers they actually had.

I haven't played DF2 but Dragon Force 1 is one of my favorite games of all time.

Sega owns Atlus, they easily have what they need to do DF3 in all regions.

I loved that game back in the days. For some reason I chose Gongos on my first playthrough, who is kind of the comic relief of the game. Discovering the story through his eyes was an experience i haven't relived since.

This is my favorite game of all time, and it's the reason why I have a huge Saturn collection, including 2 copies of this game, to this day.

I’m finally picking at DF1 and it’s extremely cool. I’m having a ton of fun. Still a little confused about some things here and there, but I’ve got about 60 generals or so, and it’s so fun.

I remember seeing the adds for this game in magazines and buying a Saturn just for this. Still play the game today
