"Even though they're advancing, from an operational level, a strategic level, they're losing and they're losing heavily."

  • The small gains by Russia in comparison to their losses indicate a failed offensive.
  • James, it is not about losses of soldiers, but the losses of equipment and eventual bankruptcy of the Russian state.
  • @tomw.6757
Russia lost on day one. They never had a chance. Now they're just deciding how slowly to lose and how many soldiers to lose.

The problem is that Ukaine is losing people, too. That's the most worring thing here!

It's not losing the troops that really matters, or that anyone in Russia cares about. People are expendable and can be replaced somehow, but BMPs and tanks are running out fast. That is cause for concern.

PUTIN Stated in 2022 " WE WILL DEMILITARIZE UKRAINE " PUTIN in 2023 " 1950 s T-54 Tanks , Chinese Golf Carts and BEGGING North Korea for Ammo " In AVDIVKA Drone Footage Russia is using 1930 s Military Trucks, The Entire World is Laughing at PUTIN as Russia Collapses ...😀😀
  • When they lose the 1950’s equipment, maybe they can dig out the horses and slingshots. 😂
  • @Scrapper.
Surely the fact that Putin is recruiting 'troops' from Africa, North Korea, etc, should mean that Ukraine can recruit from abroad including NATO countries?
  • Putin is like a prized fighter who has not made any plans for a counter punch from an inferior fighter.

I am always and progressively deeply saddened when hearing about "losses" whether UK or Ru. Alife is a life...the 'soldier' is someone's son, brother, father... then, I am so maddened by the referal to "losses" by the media and officials as if these people were a thing., a piece of datum.. and then I am Furious thinking about Putin, and others who command the Ru 'soldiers' to fight...I hope that the accummulated curses finally destroy Putin...horrible

Sovjet Union in WW2 lost 14.000 soldiers every day dead (wounded not included). We in modern western society simply don't understand what dictators are willing to sacrifice. Northkorean troops are still coming to the battlefield.

Come on now Russia can't be losing. Ive seen surveillance drone videos of Russians riding into combat on golfcarts and getting hit with kamakaze drones.

Very confusing - on one hand he says the Afgan war stopped because relatives protested , but he says that current soldiers are prisoners and migrants . There are now high salaries and bonuses which relatives benefit from, so less likely to complain. I think that the high casualties are not going to be as big a problem as he thinks - it's the money to pay for it all is what's going to be the problem. North Korea will sell soldiers and shells for money, and Africans will line up for bonuses. The biggest way to stop the war is for Europe to stop buying Russian oil and gas - not just cut back. As long as Russia has money to spend the war will go on.
  • Hello bots, I hope that pitiful pay of yours lasts you until the next month 🤭
  • The interviewer puts it so well. For us, these losses would be unsustainable, and this guy just can't stop thinking like us even though he's supposed to be the military expert. These losses are sustainable, and then he can just mobilize by force more of his population. The danger is so much deeper, and we need to realize that, and he helps nobody trying to make us think that it's unsustainable sustainable. iUntil Ukraine can start to hit Russia behind the lines and start recruiting soldiers from all over the world and all over their population then they will continue to slowly lose

Another top rate interview, James. IMO, you are arguably the best on the globe at your profession. Your guests, including Mr. Ingram, are excellent as well.
