Watch the videos of her circulating online. She was completely clueless. How she got a license to fly a plane is beyond comprehension.
  • @eldonn4871
The real miracle here is she survived this long.
  • @apexkilla
She had no business whatsoever being at the controls of an airplane. Complete incompetence.
  • @drhoff585
If you watched any of her videos you’d see she was always behind in controlling the aircraft. She had no business being in the air. The CFI’s who signed her off need to be looked at.

Anyone who watched all or likely even a few of her videos has a good idea of what caused the crash - absolutely devastating situation

Felt so sorry for her father. He looked incredibly uncomfortable. She was so incompetent, and he was feeling it.
  • @spitymaeh
She also had a video of her driving a car on her channel including several stop sign violations and so on. She had no clue what she was doing and it is mind boggling she got a license to fly a plane.
  • She took incompetence to a new level. One of the influencers more interested in saying they're a pilot than being one.

She was completely incompetent, and had no business being in the air. Another YT “pilot” in the cockpit for all the wrong reasons, and unfortunately took her dad with her.

The title of this video about the "pilot warned about emergency" is not mentioned in your story.

Complete and total incompetence killed her, how in the world did she she ever got her pilots license?
  • @cornerofthemoon
Having watched some of her flying videos before they were removed, I'm surprised she ever actually managed to land an aircraft at all.

I wonder how many female commercial pilots got pushed through because of their gender.

The fact there was a compass mounted top dead centre of the instrument cluster, so much so you had to look over it to see out the windshield, yet she didn't know what direction she was flying...... I have no pity for her, part of being an adult is being able to identify your shortcomings. Her ego prevented her from ever learning how to fly, and if she picked up the BAK for the same amount of time she looked in the mirror every day then navigation wouldn't have been a problem.

So we’re talking about a woman who took off from an airport and couldn’t even tell which direction she had to point the nose to get to her destination. She accidentally turned off the Garmin 430 and had no clue how to turn it back on. Which incidentally, is the same way she turned it off. She had no sense of direction, zero airmanship, and demonstrated complete incompetence and lack of PIC authority. And then she was actually getting instruction for her instrument rating. What a joke. She couldn’t even handle simple VFR flight. Let’s not talk about that idiot of a Flight instructor. She was flying with in most of her videos. He demonstrated exactly what I’ve been advocating for years. Young Flight instructors with zero flight time under their belts other than what was required for the CFI rating then they think they can teach the FAA should have a requirement of at least 1000 hours before someone can teach someone else how to fly. She got what she deserved. I’d have a serious talk with the designated pilot examiner that gave her her license as well as her instructors. Too bad her dad had to pay the ultimate price.

Incompetence kills. She clearly did not read the Century 2000 manual... Riding the the Greyhound would have been a better choice of transportation.
  • @harryagrotis326
This woman had no business flying an airplane for sure but how on earth did she get her license????
  • @vollste
I know what caused that crash along with everyone else who saw her YT videos.
  • @Finians_Mancave
I saw a news report that they did find two "recording devices" (likely the GoPros which she used for her Social media channels) and were reported to be fully intact. I suspect the contents of those cameras will reveal what all of her previous YT videos already showed... that her Beechcraft was just too much plane for this novice (and not very intuitive) pilot.
