DC Movies I Want in James Gunn's Reboot

What did you think of Blue Beetle? What other DC Characters do you want to see get adapted into a movie? And when do you think these studios will get off their butts and pay their writers and actors fairly?

need that "Nightwing" pitch movie video I think we’re all long overdue for a Nightwing movie the character & story arch is phenomenal.

I'm dying to see Martian Manhunter, in a solo project or in Justice League movies, whatever, but I wanna see him treated properly like a solitary soul and the amazing character he is

Here’s my movie pitch : A movie where Warner Brothers pays properly their writers , actors , animation , effects , editors and not doing inhuman things to the people that work for them 😮 THAT MOVIE WOULD BE AWESOME

I love the idea of a John wick style Nightwing movie where the majority of the film is Dick trying to fight off assassins after blockbuster puts a bounty on his head due to nightwing interfering with blockbuster’s crimes. Would love to see you make a Nightwing movie pitch.

I love that Nightwing has become an ‘A List’ hero. He’s always had the ability to, but because of the heads at DC not liking the fact people make Dick jokes about his name. He’s always been shafted. But the last few years he’s really shined, and I’m very happy for that!

I agree with the choices, though I think a Green Arrow & Black Canary team up movie will work better than a standalone. I also believe Question and Huntress should be in a movie, or rather, a tv series together.

I want an Icon and Rocket movie bad! Give us more Milestone characters other than Static! But also Static. Just Static, no Shock. I'm so glad you pointed that out.

I really love the idea of the gag where everyone keeps calling Virgil Static Shock and he has to keep coming "The name is just Static"

Love the Mister Miracle inclusion, he's probably my favourite DC character Also would love to see a part two and / or a Nightwing pitch!

I think my most wanted character to get a live action adaptation is being covered by the upcoming Booster Gold series. I LOVE that dude and he absolutely deserves it.

The heroes I want to see done right the most are Nightwing, Cassandra Cain, Oracle, Spoiler, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Even if he’s had movies before, the live-action ones aren’t good outside of the Christopher Reeve ones. DC has so many phenomenal characters and stories that it’s a shame they’ve focused almost solely on Batman. If done right, DC easily rivals Marvel and in my opinion, surpasses it. Also, out of left field but I really want to see Question and Huntress’ relationship from JLU on the big screen. Edit: I agree with all of your suggestions, especially on Mister Miracle and the potential with New Genesis and Apocalypse. Also, if we don’t see Detective Chimp in Justice League Dark, there will be riots in the streets. I really want to see your Nightwing pitch and follow up video to this on more characters you’d want to see.

I think the Legion of Superheroes seems just about obscure enough for James Gunn to tackle, though the real question is which version of the Legion to adapt to film.

I'd love to see a Red Hood movie, his story is so interesting, and I'd want it to focus on his time after he was resurrected, his time with both Talia and Ra's al Ghul, before he returns to Gotham to wage war on the Crime Lords, get revenge of the Joker and eventually confront the antagonist of the film, Batman. In most stories about Red Hood, we follow Bruce, but I'd love to see a film that explores Jason's pain, and betrayal. You can flashback to his time as Robin as his memories slowly return, have him revisit the alley where Bruce caught him stealing the tyres of the batmobile and be forced to relive the memory, and give him a PTSD episode where the audience sees what Joker put him through. You can't show the whole ordeal, so have it happen with shadows on walls and you see the crowbar disappear of screen and hear him crying out in pain while Joker laughs, make the audience imagine how horrible it really is, and our imagination will always be more terrifying, than anything you can shoot on film.

I hope we get a reboot to the flash asap. There’s so many stories you could tell with the character. Have hike fight his rogues or do some crazy plot about time travel and fighting dinosaurs or smt who knows lmao. Point is I hope we start seeing actual flash movies soon lol, also they need to make a firestorm movie

Please make a pre-write for a Nightwing movie! Your pre-writes are really well written and you do get with the character of Dick Grayson.

If they do Constantine I hope they don’t have him shooting fireballs from his hands or fighting CGI demons… they should adapt the grounded, hellblazer stories that’re more dialogue heavy…where he’s a - not very likeable - Con man who does “magic tricks” that leave the viewer wondering whether he truly knows magic or is he just tricking everyone? Those are his best comics.

I’d love to see a series of Dakotaverse adaptations. Maybe with Static as the launching point?

Great video! I really want Zatanna to be in a movie, whether it’s a Justice League movie or a solo movie. Same with Static, Green Arrow, Nightwing, The Question, Vixen, the Teen Titans, Etc. So many characters, so many possibilities.

Honestly I’m just hoping that they adapt blue and gold. I love the relationship with Booster and Ted
