Across Hyrule you'll find a diverse blend of people and cultures. But have you ever stopped to consider what cuisine each group calls "home"? Today I'm traveling to every corner in Hyrule, where I can learn about the unique ingredients found in each region, then take those ingredients to make delicious dishes, taught to me by master chefs in the region. It's one of my wildest adventures yet, as I search the land beloved by Link and Zelda, to find the best eats in Hyrule!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom era of Hyrule.

I am severely disappointed in the lack of banana based recipes. Glory to Master Kohga
  • @lasercraft32
I find it hilarious how he gets hung up on the idea of Ritos eating birds... But doesn't say a word about Zora eating fish. XD

Bro, crazy theory. Steen and Olkin are Kakariko's legendary garden gurus. But what if there was a third? A Sheikah that brought a unique fruit to the garden variety, a Sheikah that wanted to share the love and knowledge of potassium, a Sheikah that loved... Bananas: Master Kohga.

if it's any consolation rito eating birds is just like any other predatory bird taking out a smaller bird lol

But just wait... THERE IS ANOTHER PLACE THAT HAS A GLOOMY YET SATISFYING EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR! The Depths! Purchase some Dark Clumps from local Bargainer Statues and cook these seemingly inedible clumps into any dish to give yourself an invigorating Warding effect, perfect for dealing with hands that may grab you during your travels! Just don't let the statues steal your soul!
  • Everyone: "We have all those recipes crafted with an idea, the ingredients mix together to form a dish completely new. Different fruits, meats, spices, etc. may lead to different results!" Gorons: "We took a rock, and we cooked it. And then we took a different rock... AND WE COOKED IT!"

Answering to the title, I'd win, hopefully. I mean, I do know all the recipes, I even have a whole journal for storing them all.

Noble Pursuit: Voltfruit= Dragonfruit Hydromelon= Watermelon Palmfruit= Coconut Rock Salt= Pink Himalayan Salt I've made a Noble Pursuit before, it's pretty good. If you use gold dragon fruit instead of the pink ones, it makes it a bit more sweeter.

I'm surprised Lurelin didn't get the Seafood Paella.

I can't believe my culinary suggestion of roasted acorms wasn't worthy of a shout out /j

Aaaand I just realized. Gorons are rock people that eat rocks, Zora are fish people that eat fish, Rito are bird people that eat poultry, Koroks... Probably don't need to eat, but they are plant people and all of the food they sell is plants and mushrooms. The "human" races (Gerudo, Hylians, and in previous games Ordonians and Minish) are probably the only ones not doing the "your people are made of X but they also eat X" thing.
  • Personally i think all of these dishes can be greatly increased with a nice hearty helping of Mighty Banana's! Nothing's better then a Mighty Banana! Eat enough with every meal and you too will be just as strong as our wonderful, brave, charismatic, endlessly handsome leader!
