He wanted an excuse to flex his platinum trophy on the beginning 😉

I’ve gone the entire game without knowing I can just dip from a battle 💀
  • @jakekate4992
This game should called DB Gohan instead kakarot, 80% are play as Gohan.

Another tip: While driving, all characters have short duologue with each other which is really cool. One triggers after driving for a certain amount of time and another occurs when you crash. Piccolo and Vegeta just yell at each other to watch the road😂

You have forgotten the most importand trick to lvl up fast. If you are 5 lvl above the strongest in the enemy team then you can finish the battle before it even starts by super fly into them, the battle insta finishes.
  • You can actually auto defeat the enemies.. if you're a high enough level, or powerful enough, just fly into them at max speed, they'll instantly die, and you get the Orbs and the Experience for it... You level CRAZY fast with XP giving food and stuff

There's something I figured out with flying is doing a triple jump into triple barrel rolls and then alternate rolls, you will keep the momentum with out using super dash ki, also there's a unique animation and sound when you do each triple jump or roll successfully, also note you need perfect timing.

You can also press X (Playstation) to end your combo as well, and they're not just arbitrary endings. Ending it with Square will do extra Stun damage, Circle will have higher chance of critting, Triangle will give Ki, and X (if they're blocking) will do extra block damage.

Extra tip on the barrel role move. You can use it like a triple jump. So time it 3 in a row and you'll do a really big one at the end. And each of the 3 chained barrel roles will have an increasingly large grab-box to grab as many orbs as possible, while also giving you a gradual speed boost as you do them. It's super useful in locations with high concentrations of orb trails. Instead of super boosting across the map, slow down and do some triple-barrel-roles and you'll pick up a ton of orbs without needing to be precise at all. I was doing this as soon as I discovered the move early on, and before the Saiyan Saga had even ended, I was already well beyond the point of ever needing to farm orbs. And by post-game I'm well above 100,000 of each of the 3 main types.

Am I the only one who read every single tutorial in the menu like right after I started the game? This way I knew pretty much everything and only needed to practise it

Deplete the Enemies Stun Bar Using Moves like “Body Blow” then Use a Super Attack. It will then become a cinematic attack. It looks amazing
  • @DeLuna1994
You can also end the chain O/B combo chain with X/A it’ll be like a slightly different melee attack that you can chain anything into really good with melee supers
  • Another thing i learned is you can swap button control actions. I'm more used to melee attacks using the square button so i switched the melee and ki buttons around for my preferred control scheme.

    1. You can jump like Mario from Super Mario 64 if you do a triple jump. It's also useful for moving short distances. 2. Like with the triple jump, while flying, you can hit triangle or Y three times in a row and you will go faster after each barrel roll. Also useful. 3. When you eat something, I'm pretty sure the permanent effect only effects whoever is in your party(everyone available to you), which is why I personally usually wait until intermissions to eat better or full course meals. The temporary effect effects whoever you are using and carries over.

Also, im not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but if you get the enemy's stun gauge all the way down you "break" them. Which stuns them and if you use a beam attack afterwards it does a cool little scene.
  • @unholy_exe
If you're in surge mode and you stun the enemy and use a beam attack that will kill them you get a special animation of a close up of your character starting the attack. Pretty neat thing I found while sidequesting post game. I've done it with Goku, Vegeta and Gohan so far
  • @Pimpnocchio
You can actually end combos a third way: If you press the dodge button as a combo ender, you’ll preform a multi-hit move. This is used to combo into your specials
  • @Tentarek
Combat tip: You can seamlessly integrate your melee special attacks by inputting them halfway through your basic melee combo.
