Never move someone with a possible head injury like that until you stabilize the patient. Never!
  • @reno145
This should be shown as a textbook example of what not to do with a suspected head injury.

i am a high school basketball referee. if that scenario would have happened in a high school sanctioned game, NOBODY would have TOUCHED the player except for designated medical personnel. i can't BELIEVE everybody else stood around and allowed those players to basically FORCE the injured player to try to walk. Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot, people!!!

This broke my heart. One, moving her when they shouldn’t. The coach didn’t even look a bit concerned, just looking at her up and down. The staff and meds need to do better. Prayers that she’s okay 🙏🏼
  • They should have never picked her up. The fact that it took the trainers forever to get to her is ridiculous
  • @TheGatewoods1023
That was piss poor urgency by the entire training staff, medical staff, coaching staff. You do not pick someone up from a head injury that severe. That’s just common sense.
  • @stevenlowe6378
“She tried to walk off the court” She was forcefully dragged 😂😂😂😂
  • @alexhorton7845
I am floored. Nobody on that floor, from the players, to the head coach, to the trainers have NEVER SEEN A CONCUSSION?!? Don't move her!!!
  • The staff was ridiculous. How you going to say she’s okay when she’s literally in pain, and crying. They should have never moved her
  • @Dewey-pq4tq
Bro all the medical people or whoever needs to be fired wtfff did I just watch
  • @shoofly529
Echoing previous posters, if you suspect a head injury you always suspect a neck injury. You don't move the aided until you immobolize the neck with a cervical collar. The collar will remain on until a neck X-ray shows no cervical damage.
  • I took a sport med class in 1985, and even I know that when someone has a possible head or neck injury that you DON'T pull them onto their feet and get them to walk. Pure idiots on that staff.

I just read a story saying that CT scans and other test came back with good results and she has movements in all of her extremities 😐🤕
  • @demetrice7158
This had me in tears. Shaking my head! Praying for her. A speedy recovery. 🙏🏾

You never EVER move someone with a head injury until he or she is stabilized. Period. That is how you make the injury 20x worse
  • @johnkenkel
I went through EMT school this past summer and the medical staff did basically everything we were taught not to do.
  • Why do they continue to try to move her! Entire medical staff would be fired!
  • @dawnmaiorano8421
As a trauma nurse I was horrified by this so called medical team and coaching staff making her ambulate or move without stabilizing her spine !!!!!
  • @kenjacobus9526
I have been on the receiving end of concussions and trust me, it’s pretty brutal.
