Hexanon Lenses : Great Quality Cheap Prices : Vintage Camera Gear : Vintage Photography Lenses

In this video I take a look at a line of lenses that I feel have been very overlooked over the past few decades. I am talking about the Hexanon lenses by Konica. These lenses accompanied their AR line of cameras from the mid 60s until the late 80s. Most people agree that the quality of these camera lenses is outstanding. Many pro photographers would admit that these lenses are just as good (or even better) than anything Canon or Nikon released.

You can find these lenses on the secondhand market for very good prices. Also, you can buy adapters that will enable you to use these classic lenses on your current digital camera. I have used these lenses for years and I have always been very impressed by them.

The lenses came in a wide range of focal lengths. The 50mm lens is especially popular. I love wide angle lenses. My favorite is the 28mm f/3.5. I have been trying to track down the 24mm lens for quite some time.

If you are into vintage photography gear or vintage film cameras, you will enjoy this video. I have been into retro and antique film cameras for quite some time. I collect both 35mm and medium format film cameras.

  • Absolutely agree, Hexanon glass is lovely and I cherish it. Please take better care of it, it breaks my heart to see it so filthy. #meantwell

Hi, I'd like to ask where you read that Hexanon lenses were used by the Japanese military?
