I’m happy that Green Lantern is finally gonna get his own live action show. He was always relegated in the cartoons tv show and cartoon movies. By himself or with other DC heroes.

Speculation but I feel like I can confidently say the post production process for a Lanterns series would be a little longer than for Peacemaker. Presumably aliens, more super powers, I'd imagine regular use of lantern constructs. The shoot might take longer for coordinating the practical side of things as well. So yeah it could easily be a longer process than Peacemaker was

Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard is quite perfect casting. I have not seen all SNL skits, but I do enjoy the ones he's in that I have seen. Parallax would be interesting to see. Maybe it could lead into The Sinestro Corps War for the DCU? Could be interesting to see. The Sinestro Corps War is one of my favorite Green Lantern story.

I have a friend who is 35 with a 16 year old son. This idea that Batman has to be old to have a son is stupid. You could easily say that Bruce met Tahlia when he was 19 and had just begun his training at the League of Assassins. They had a secret romance and when Ra's found out about it he took Tahlia and hid her away so that she wouldn't be with Bruce. Years later we find out that she was pregnant when she was taken away and Ra's made sure that Bruce never found out.

Personally what bums me out with Hal Jordan being a veteran because I think it would’ve been cool to see his origin story and him recruited to the GL Corps and getting mentored by Sinestro and growing that friendship from the start

It seems like 8 episodes is an HBO thing. Each season of 'True Detective' has been 8 episodes. ('Night Country' is separate from Nic P.'s three seasons.) I'm sure their metrics make it make sense, but, whoever made that decision - 8 and not 10 - is insane.

I think the ancient threat is a reference to the Center, Braniac or the New Gods. We know it’s something that affects the future of the DCU.

I hope they make Batman like mid 30s I mean the guy became Batman real young and let’s not forget Batman I think graduated college at like high school age. Then traveled the world a couple of years probably was Batman like 18 19 or 20. So 10 years is like 30 35 is a pretty experienced Batman. I mean the dude is a genius abs was plotting to be Batman since he was 10.

The Green Lanterns discover the Centre from the New Frontier, it was not only leaked but it also confirms that there doing a modern day New Frontier adaptation for the JL movie. Which I'm super excited for. James Gunn was asked about it and did not deny it
