  • In the presence of a mere video clip of this remarkable soul, and I am shameful for taking my perfect senses for granted. Lord help me be more like Helen and see and hear and speak with my heart.

This is most amazing to watch ..... Happy Valentine's Day, Helen 💖
  • Striking! I thought I knew the story of this remarkable woman; I sure did not realize the depths of her exceptional life! From conquering communication, to schooling, to collage, to Hollywood?! Wow! She did, indeed, conquer the world, much less her disability! What made this even more stunning was hearing her in her own voice! it pierces the soul! If one is feeling a case of the Mondays, or doesn't want to get out to bed, watch THIS! I am very much looking forward to part 2!

  • I'm in my 50s now but have loved Helen Keller since I was a teenager. My friend and I played Helen and Annie in our h.s. play! She was and always will be an inspiration!

  • I remember watching the film “ Mirical Worker” with Anna Bancroft and Patty Duke, I was about 7 years old. This film had quite an impact on me. So being able to watch her life story on YouTube, I feel I personally know this incredible woman.

What an inspiration! Wow. I'm legally blind and have been since birth. I'm now 49. Life certainly has its challenges for me, as it does for us all of course, but to learn about how Helen overcame such obstacles that she faced, is just amazing. I do wonder what was going through her young mind as a 6 year-old that couldn't see or hear the world around her. How did thoughts process in her mind as she didn't yet know language? It must have been awfully frightening for her. Poor child. Anyhow, thank you for uploading this.
  • This is fascinating and interesting to watch. I love hearing the old fashioned English accent they used to speak like in those days! Great to see this wonderful footage. 💗This is great 👍

She’s amazing, nothing can stopped her ♥️ It’s so interesting the way she communicate with people, her speech actually clearer than what I’ve thought. It’s a well made movie, the music is amazing!

Polly Thomson is an angel in human form. She showed hope when this poor woman would have been kept in an institution without communication for her whole life. She showed the world people with disabilities are still capable of learning. And helped others along the way. It was so exciting to hear Helen Keller in an actual film.👼
