Oh, I’m so happy about the Generative Remove tool and the Exported Files Filter for LrClassic. These Two updates will really speed up my workflow and make it more efficient! No more having to create another file with Lr edits, when going from Lr to Ps to remove something more than just spots. What a timely update for me; can’t wait to try it in a few minutes! A BIG THANK YOU!👏👏👏😊

Thank you Terry for this update video. I was hoping for a long time Adobe would improve the remove tools in LrC. And now they did, great! I don't really like the Lens Blur option, it looks too fake for me. But maybe I need to test it some more. Oh, and enjoy your birthday!
  • Loving the subtle file management updates to Lightroom desktop. My import workflow still involves pre-naming and backing up RAW files offline prior to adding them to Lightroom. Hopefully, this will be a native feature like it is in LR Classic.

When you said it's that time in May, your birthday was the first thing that popped in my mind🎂Thank you for this quick and handy update! Looking forward to Generative AI Remove and performance/speed boost!

Happy Birthday and thank you for all you do to keep us updated.

Thanks, Terry for this update. My favorite is the Exported-filter. I’m in the habit of color-coding my exports but always miss a few when working with 1000+ photos from a race shoot. Happy Birthday & many more!

Wow! I can’t believe I saw this video when it was brand new and just 3 views!!! Can’t wait to see all the updates!!!

Awesome updates Terry, however, the most AWESOMEIST update in this version of LRC is FINALLY the ability to tether with my Canon R6 II. 🤣🤣🤣
  • @kschwitter
Thank you so much for this. Happy birthday!
  • Hey. I discovered the update while playing around with the Lightroom mobile earlier today. I am so glad to have the update! it made my work a whole lot easier. I wish I had waited on working on recent photos till now. Anyways, I enjoyed the video. Thanks for the content and hard work!

Thanks Terry! All the new is great . . . . . . except the 'archive' feature. Just bringing a file down using the manual method is easier than using the archive feature. If files come from a card they should already by archived. If files come from a Lr synced camera, highlight the file(s) click 'Share', choose 'original+settings' and download to a location of choice.

Happy soon to be birthday Terry 🎂🎉🎈Thanks for these updates! I wish there was a way to sync wirelessly to LR for studio photography. Maybe I should try to shoot tethered again, I have done this but it was when I first started photography about 9 years ago. It is annoying when wifi drops and I have to reconnect the wireless connection with the Canon app. I mostly use Adobe Camera Raw to edit and have just stuck with that. Do people use LR more because of the catalogue part?
  • @tcrietz
Is it best to clean up the collections before updating? I’ve been trying to clean up catalog for years and updating Thus my computer (new imac) never seems to respond as fast as your demos (by the way). Thanks for the helpful update!
