If it's true that video games allow players to vicariously live out their wildest dreams, we're just glad they've got an outlet. Some of the things that they get up to in the likes of The Sims or RollerCoaster Tycoon are frankly horrifying and don't even get us started on locking the butler in the freezer in Tomb Raider. Here are ten of the most inhumane things that all gamers have done!

Locking Winston in the freezer would be a hidden trophy this day and age
  • @Veggieman87
No mention of throwing the penguin off the mountain in Mario 64? Granted, these acts are far more heinous, but that should be an honorable mention.

According to my aunt, the most inhumane thing gamers have done is stay inside and not talk to people.

In The Sims there was a fireworks item, which for some reason you could place inside the house, so my favourite way to kill off my sims was by burning down their houses via firworks. They never did bring that item back for the sequals, I wonder why?

Running over pedestrians in GTA is for plebs. Just steal a car, wait for the owner to try and get you out and hit the gas. See how long they can hang on to that door while their faces are being peeled off by the asphalt :)
  • Reminding us we left our Neopets unattended is the equivalent of ripping our hearts out because we grew older.
  • Surrendering your companion to cannibals in New Vegas for easy XP is way up there The real life implications of playing "Tokyo Jungle" with my dog in the room have bothered me too

I’m a terrible person. I did the whole “beat a villager into submission” only for them to move to my friends island... so I attacked them all over again
  • I constantly beat up the principal in Bully Schoolar Edition and I couldn't stop doing it even though I was sent to the Principal's Office.
  • @Emelenyt
The Sims turns even the most respectable person into a deviant
  • @Theretrosaint
I can't believe dropping the baby penguin off the edge of a cliff in mario 64 didn't make this list.

At 0:54 there’s literally a person called ‘Cunty’ in the text box at the top right 😂😂

In Resident Evil 4, I shot the Merchant in the face just to see if I could. I felt so bad that I reloaded the save and never did it again, but the guilt remained.

The most evil thing was in the first Knights of the old Republic: you can rob a Mother and her children of her last valuable Item, so she can never get off Tatooine and got stuck there in poverty and possibly slavery. Thats too cruel, even for an Sith.

Surprised that the tying up a person and leaving them on the tracks in Red Dead isn't on here.

I killed all the little sisters. Reasoned with myself "It's just a game" lol. Then I found out it affects part of the ending and started all over. Glad they decided to make your choice matter.
  • @Pomerasian
The most inhumane thing to do in animal crossing is when you donate fish, you skip blathers' explanations but when you donate bugs you torture the poor soul by asking to hear the explanation
  • @SlayerRunefrost
Hey, in Skyrim, there's a trophy/achievement for racking up a $10,000 bounty in every hold. What better way then going on a killing spree........Ok so, you only have to kill one guard per hold but that's no fun.

Is it sad that I can tell the thumbnail screenshot is from Tomb Raider II, because the kitchen/freezer tiles are blue in TRIII?
  • I have tortured my Sims a lot, even killing them off in numerous ways including starvation and being stuck in a burning room. I release some of the dangerous animals in Zoo Tycoon 2 and sometimes some of the least ones (sometimes the koalas have a tendency to escape from the exihibit).
