I personally would never want to see Mario 64 or Sonic The Hedgehog remade, as those are sacred games to me. I believe the general consensus of the X-Men Origins Wolverine film had a much better game than the actual movie.

Golden Eye is a good answer. I'll also say 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' and 'The Warriors' are both superior to their respective movies

One reason why folks don’t mind video game remakes is that many older games aren’t easily accessible to most folks, unless they are remastered or remade (whereas I can rent a classic movie from any number of services). This point may be lost on Adam who can play any old game anytime he wants 😉.

If the PS6 is backwards compatible with PS4 & PS5 games I hope it upscales them to 8k, or at least a sharper 4k than the PS5 since I don't have a 8k TV yet. I'm also hoping we don't have to jailbreak the PS6 to play PS4 games like how you would have to jailbreak the Wii U to play GameCube games.

Goldeneye was made over a 3 year period. They started development of it almost a full year before the movie came out, & it didn't release until nearly 2 years after the film, Tomorrow Never Dies came out only 2 months after the game released. Just straightening out the facts.

If they want to do remakes, I feel they should concentrate on the fifth generation that went 3D. I'm sure there's a lot of hidden gems that are fantastic that could be done with better controls. Awesome graphics and people will love them, especially since the younger generation never experienced them or never heard of them.

X-Men The Official Game was pretty decent in my opinion. Iceman missions were okish, Wolverine missions good and Nightcrawler missions were the best. Note: But I didn't play it for at least 15 years.

Guys, in an alternate reality where the PS doesn't exist, the console that will succeed is going to be Panasonic M2.. This console was only canceled due to the huge success of the PS1. The specs were impressive for its time and many developers like Capcom and Konami were going to make games. The Panasonic M2 was going to be what the PS1 was.
