Love how Kush stays totally calm for the salt disaster, quietly giving remedial instructions and going back to his own business. For someone who can be so chaotic and mischievous, he’s an absolute rock when needed.

Video idea: Recipe whispers! One of the team makes a dish and then tells one of the others the list of ingredients and how to prepare it. He tells the next team member and so on. Then the last member of the team has to make the dish as well with the information he received and in the end you compare how similar/different the dishes are. You could workshop the format a bit, but I think it would be fun to see how much information goes out the window when it's passed on.

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of watching Kush cook. His skill level is unbelievable, personality infectious and you can tell he truly loves what he does. I think I might have a man crush on Chef Kush.

Now I would love an addition to this format where the chef makes a version with the "unlimited" budget ingredients after the competiton portion to show what is possible with the ingredients the "normal" bought.

You can see Kush dying inside a little when Jamie says his toastie is one dimensional. I bet he's thinking "I smoked some herbs for this, you peasant!"

I love how this is a competition but Kush is so kind to jump in and try to help Barry when he makes mistakes.

I love the way that when James left we were (rightly) gutted and them Kush just stepped up and is unbelievably good in front of the camera. He’s so good at describing why he is doing things, it’s brilliant.

The fact that Kush made 8 of those is brilliant! Sometimes the budget battles go into just making 1 thing with the limit but I like the idea of trying to stretch it to go further to serve more than just one person.
