The Center-Drive Plus is an elevated version of the category-defining Center-Drive multi-tool, an evolution that holds true to the benchmark tools and adds some highly-requested features to the line-up. The purposeful one-thumb opening design remains for quick deployment to the tools you depend on most: the spring-loaded pliers, the full size blade, and the full size, center axis screwdriver.

I’m bummed I didn’t get a Scissor on my Center Drive! I bought when this first went on sale few years ago!

If it comes with saw, plain edge blade, separated whole serrated blade and scissors.. I would definitely buy it.... actually even if it doesn't have scissors I will still consider it.

I bought one a while ago and it was pretty slick for most of the work I did, except for the wire cutters. They shattered the first time I used them and to buy a replacement set in Canada is over $50 shipped! That is the one major draw back to this tool and that is why I won't buy another one.

I can't believe gerber use triangle shaped cutters. All the pressure goes onto a tiny point. Leatherman cutters are square and have plenty of meat behind them to support the load. Don't need to be an engineer to figure that one out. Also gerber pliers have no squeezing power. I did a test with my Leatherman wave where I squeezed onto a piece of plastic and the plastic was completely flattened where the same test with the centre drive left only a small mark. Try pulling something thin with the centre drive and it will slip where the wave will gip and get the job done. Also, why not put the file and a saw on the outside and have the little tools on the inside.
  • Fix the cutters because they suck. They absolutely do not cut anything and cast a world of shade on what would be an excellent multi-tool!!!
  • What if you guys stopped ignoring the fact that your cutters are the worst on the market and start actually coming up with a solution? This multitool would be nearly perfect if it had cutters that actually cut something and didn't immediately break upon contact with anything harder than a fucking condom (at this point I wouldn't even be surprised if the condom broke them).
