  • I'm always intrigued by the way fitness/nutrition/health influencers can be so pompous, condescending, and confident about their latest theories, even though they have changed their mind about those theories so many times.

A conversation that starts by comparing biceps, using the term "triggered", mentioning Joe Rogan, and proclaiming one's integrity...is podcast narcissistic gold!

Say what you will about Dave Asprey, but this man has single-handedly changed my life with his bulletproof coffee and mold research. I will always follow him and listen to his advice. I take bits and pieces from each and every "longevity expert" and find the consensus. Through common sense and practicality, I figure out what works for my lifestyle.

Love the “where have you changed your mind” series. Great idea and love seeing people willing the be open minded on these subjects. Thank you Thomas!
  • I’m 60yrs and look 10yrs younger than him….I just train with weights 3 times a week and bike 4 times a week ,eat med style food and sleep well ..metabolically spot on ..had bloods done no inflammation at all ..enjoy life .

Best person to listen to about not aging is Sally Fallon Morell. She’s 75 yet looks mid fifties and she’s not using gizmos to achieve this- it’s butter, liver, fish eggs, and fatty meat plus some carbs drenched in animal fat. She is THE pioneer in the nutrition field she’s literally Josephine the Baptist! Shrieking into the wilderness when everyone was running in the other direction toward the cliff edge.

Thomas, your patient and somewhat reticent response to this particular guest was appropriate and necessary. Your steady manner is a sign of wisdom and does not go unnoticed.
  • 5 minutes of information crammed into 38 minutes of mostly, "Yay, me!."
  • @jillharrell3256
I wish I had the self confidence/deception to get on film and say my body fat is 6% when it's at least double that. And talk about longevity when I look a decade older than I am.
  • @WideAwakeHuman
Dave’s answer for everything: “Well where everyone is going to end up is where I’ve been for a long time.” Yes, Dave, you’re always right and if people would just listen everyone would live to 150yrs old. He says a few good things but is just so freaking smug about it that it’s hard to listen to.

I love that Thomas will bring all kinds of perspectives and “experts” on his channel. Even though I might not agree with Dave as prey on most things, I believe there is always something to learn from everyone . Thank you Thomas, keep up the great work

Love the..WHERE HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND series. I want to hear all sides whether I believe it or not. It opens up my mind & I like to research different ideas. Thank you Thomas.
  • People change their minds all the time, when we know better we do better. I admire and respect that Asprey uses himself as a human test subject on a grand scale to find what works for him. If everyone put in the effort to try different things or take a different approach there would be more open minded individuals. The world is constantly changing and we have to change along with it to grow and apapt 🕊️

Yea, for a guy who preaches health span and reversing aging Dave looks like he accelerated the process.
  • @tombrightman9206
Dave looks like a healthy 65 and he's just 50; it will be interesting to see how things turn out. I like the information, but it's boiling down to not overeating a mostly whole food animal protein based diet (1 g/lb), pulsing high intensity exercise (2 days a week, 30 min), zone 2 a few hours a week, walking the same, calisthenics, moderate sunshine, and rest. Supplement D3, K2, glycine, NAC, collagen peptides, taurine, magnesium, zinc

2 dudes admiring each other’s biceps & body fat %

55 and still going stronger than ever, never got into longevity supplements but look at lot younger than I am, as a hunter my protein comes from venison elk buffalo turkey fish and beef I get from a local farmer, make and collect my own chaga and grow organic. Don't complicate anything with foods. Best anti aging ever is simply resistant weight training and getting your Vo2 up and what you believe you become as the mind doesn't know the difference to whats real and whats not, simply think about eating a whole lemon and your body acts as if you did and produces the same chemicals as actually eating it, So, what you think about you bring about.
