Producer:"hey mick..... I forgot to press record" Mick :"I was just warming up"
-
"Mick enter recording room" Guitar : Noo..please sir i have family..
-
Anyone who's tried to track guitars can appreciate how insane this is
-
All Hope Is Gone had some of the most technical and insane riffs Slipknot has ever done. To this day. Mick is an underrated master of his craft. His movements are almost robotic. You can tell this man has spent countless years honing his ability.
-
Keep in mind, he normally plays this while wearing a mask and a hot, sweaty jumpsuit.
-
"Awesome mick....now can you play that again?....i forgot to press record."
-
That fact that this dude plays that all while head banging is incredible.
-
You can listen to a song a thousand times but watching the musician actually play it live will always be a unique experience.
-
Mick doesnt get enough credit in the guitar world. Hes a fucking beast
-
Man, I'm sure the guitar needed a cigarette after that...

His precision, timing, and confidence in his own ability is admirable. I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to appreciate Micks playing before this video. This is what the art of Guitar looks like when you’ve genuinely put in the hours.
-
I once played this EXACT same riff EXACTLY the way Mick did in the video....& then I woke up...
-
I didn't realize how on point his playing is until I watched this. Sick
-
I'm a beginner guitar player .This video is so damn inspirational that keeps me playing.
-
It's rare for an entire album to be this badass from beginning to end. All Hope is Gone: 9/10
-
his fucking speed makes me wanna sit in a corner and cry...
-
The guitar was afraid to do a mistake...
-
Mick is such a riff machine. Such consistent and strong attack.

Love that you can hear the acoustic sound of the electric guitar over the playback of the track as he records, one way to tell how cleanly and expertly he's playing.
