  • I have watched this video twice before and it still inspires me. Since I found you I have watched most of your videos and become interested in topiary. I am 85, a life long gardener and author of three Lasagna Gardening books however, I find keeping up with all the work of keeping up with renewing my soil with organic material is going to be too much. The art and satisfaction of topiary may be just what I need in my older years. I have begun with my existing boxwood plants and my existing pots. Thanks so much.
  • This was so helpful to me. I have planted Japanese box to make spheres and I have been too timid to trim much yet. I will start being aggressive in Spring. Thank you. Canberra Australia 9b

  • Hello Linda. Love your how to videos. They are so inspiring. One unrelated question? The pot orb on your potting table. Where did you purchase them? Thank you for the information. 💕💕

Im in a zone 9, CA. I don't know if we get baby gem, what other would you recommend? As tiny leaf as possible? And what's the smallest pot you'd recommend, and largest?

I have 4 four foot tall boxwoods that are just cone shaped and would like to make them into double ball shapes. Are full grown boxwoods difficult to do this with? Will they just look like I butchered them?

Too much off the top, hardly any shaping on the sides, none on bottom. You could have edited the video to show beginning and finished topiary. We have no idea how this turned out. 😒
