You literally cannot 'give' offence... it can only be 'taken'. It's up to every single one of us if we 'choose' to let others words affect us.

This video was published 5 years ago but it's a video I really needed to see today because recently it feels like I can't breathe without someone getting upset and saying it's offensive.

I've recently seen a video of a white looking guy wearing Mexican costumes, hats and a fake mustache. He asked 10 white Americans and they were mostly offended by him "copying others culture". Meanwhile, he went to a Mexican neighborhood, asked 10 Mexicans and all of them liked his costume, none of them was offended.
