**I just wanted to put a remark on 9:33 (zipper panel), if you use print fabric (with right side and the wrong side), after you sew the lining panel, when you open the zipper, the wrong side will show inside the zipper pocket, I had to compromise this to minimize the bulk. If that bothers you, you may use solid fabric for the zipper lining panel (with no right side or wrong side); or add an extra layer of lining, face the right side of the lining to the wrong side of the zipper panel, baste stitch, and then sew the second lining as instructed). Thanks!!

  • She’s amazing. I get confused and lost so easily in sewing tutorials and she is so thorough and precise with teaching. She has a gift.

Made one. Now on my second one. Thanks so much for the great instructions!

I did it! I am very happy with my new wallet. It is much less bulky than my old one and it is pretty (flowered fabric). I decided to do it with two card pockets and leave out the zipper pocket, as I don't use cash very often and there is no need to weigh down my every day wallet with coins. I am going to make a separate little change purse out of the same fabric and keep that in my purse alongside the wallet. You are very clear in your instructions and you have a lovely, soft voice that is a pleasure to listen to.
  • I made a wallet with your design. I modified it a little bit, leaving out the zipper. Thank you for your incredibly detailed directions and pdf file. It was a joy to make my wallet.

Hello, I'm from Belgium and I just achieved your tutorial! It was really great to do, so well explained and filmed! And last but not least, you also wrote the measurements in centimeters, what a time saving for those whose use that measure system :-) Thank you!

You are a lifesaver tonight! Long story, but I needed a small wallet pattern for my daughter's birthday. None of the designers I normally buy from had anything I was interested in, so I was trolling YouTube for videos of wallets, hoping to find one I could buy. And this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so very much! You are awesome!
