Just stumbled on this video, i sure am glad i did. Im running into fit issues with an axial .28. Im in northern Illinois too, over in rockford. Thank you for the great ideas. Anything else i might need to know?

Iv had 2 hurdles, thanks to u 1 is in the post the "savage manifold/header" Another iv solved, iv a 1/8 3 shoe clutch, mod 1 bell. I was told to use a 52t Mod1 "monster gt" slipper (in post) ENGINE MOUNTS HELP. Hpi savage big block or the traxxas big block (the cradle looking one) that's 14£ but I might Buy the conversion kit & remove reverse

I'm Coverting my old .15 T-maxx and notice, when you move the trans forward 1 hole, you lose one of the holes because the middle holes are spaced different, I'm using the black case trans on a 3.3 chassy. Did you just not use the off hole or redrilled the tranny to screw the cross brace?

And how did you mount it? The motor mount for the stock motor which also fits the 2.5 is smaller than the hyper 3.5. The holes dont line up. At least on mine. What motor mount?
