Having a professor refusing to attend students due to their religion is just insane to me.

I'll be able to see my reflection on her flawless glass face๐ญ

Well said Sabrina... Alot of us kinda romanticise Korea but you put it simply, there's racism and also wariness, it can get confused but we should honestly be there for our Korean reverts n Muslims bros and sis cuz they are paving the way for us foreigners. Thank you for always being real with us ๐๐

Forcefully taking someoneโs hijab is a bad as forcing someone to wear one
-
But on the flipside, there are many people who are very welcoming and warm. When I visited Korea in 2016, with my cousin, both of us black hijabis, we were so welcomed by every single person who spoke to us. we even had a convo with some older men next to our table and they paid for our dinners. Not everywhere is perfect but there is good too

I think thereโs just bad apples everywhere. Even here in Malaysia, this Muslim girl forced my little sister (weโre Non-Muslims) to wear a hijab, to influence her to convert. People need to respect that other people have their own religion and them not being the same religion as you, doesnโt mean you can force them to fit your own ideals.

Forcefully taking somebody's hijab should definitely be taken more seriously an incredibly horrible thing to do.
-
Trust me honey, Islam has been around for a long time in America and people still face discrimination and abuse
-
A few Korean lecturers in Malaysia, some very friendly and mix around but some of them well how the students wish they just go back to Korea.

Gurl that glow <3 You be shining โค
-
โคShukran for the honesty... We all love Korea but we definitely don't see the reality of living there... So shukran sisโค... You're lovely
-
that sounds really hard๐ wish the best for them and you guys for sticking to what you believe in, may Allah ease your path ๐ค
-
You're strong to stay there for 5 years, if it was me I would've cried every night and left the country. But I'm pretty sure it's more difficult for koreans because if ur foreign you can go back to your country, but if ur Korean you might as well just have to accept it and be patient. May Allah help every muslim that struggles with practicing their religion peacefully

Girl your skin is literally GLOWING and youโre so pretty!! ๐ญ๐

Iโm Muslim . And love Seoul and wanted to go there ๐never mind now
-
ngl but minorities also are not well treated in Muslim dominated areas too, many people have forced me to convert to islam even though I politely rejected..tht was a long story so nvm.....your religion doesn't respect others religion too do u guys feel bad now tht someone is treating u the same way y'all treat others....tolerance is a key I would say!! but yeah forcing someone to take off their hijabs ain't a gud thing man!!
-
And this is what other religion people face in muslim country or dominant muslim country too tho... In Indonesia, They told Indonesian Chinese to "go back to where they belong" too ๐ ..
-
Iโm pretty sure there are 0.4% of Muslims are living in korea who are mostly foreigners ๐ and korea is a community of atheists, Buddhism and Christians. Koreans are very protective about their religion and country.

The Islamophobic comments frightened me. It's ridiculous that people support discriminating against others based on their religion. The girl literally mentioned that her friend forcibly removed her hijab, which is physical violence. Reading those comments makes me feel unsafe about traveling anywhere. Luckily, I live in the Emirates where I can freely practice my religion and wear what I want. I sympathize with Muslims elsewhere facing backlash due to the actions of countries like Iran and Afghanistan. It's backward, and we shouldn't endorse such behavior.
