My Dads Battle With Dementia

I did a four month run taking care of my mom's sister 24hrs 7days a week because her three children wouldn't! It was an honor taking care of her. I watched her taking her a last breath on 1-21-24 at 84yrs old❤❤❤ God bless you and your family for taking care of your Daddy❤️❤️❤️ in the name of Jesus!

God bless you for being there for your father I was my boyfriend care giver before he died we were together for 15 years my boyfriend was on dialysis, total blindness and both legs were amputated but he died from infection last year 2023 caregiving is not easy but it is rewarding

What a struggle. You and your family are so brave. The strength of your spirit is what has kept your Dad continue to live. My mother in law has dementia but a milder form of it. She has had dementia for at least 10 years and just celebrated her 93rd birthday. God bless you and your family.

You sound like a very great son to do what your doing for your dad, i know what is like i helped out my mother years back when my dad had Alzheimer's they lived on my property in a trailer we walked my dad back n forth on the property that helped him out much it eventually progressed thru time to where he didnt know how to eat or drink anymore it was very painful to see him in that state of unable to help him anymore other then wetting a sponge to keep his mouth from drying out & getting some moisture in his mouth without chocking, after he passed in sept2008 my mother came down with stage4 chest cancer that passed exactly 2 years later in sept2010, it wasnt east, then last year had 2 brothers pass 3 months apart youngest at 61 from cancer & oldest at 66 found deceased in bushes in southern cal, life is short my mother use to say & we just nwver know what today will bring, as the bible says no one knoweth their time nor is promised tomorrow, i pray that for anyone who doesnt knkw the Lord accept him now while they have breath tomorrow maybe too late let alone rest of today life is very short✝️🙏
