this is the year I switch back to Android. iPhone 14 Pro Max to Pixel 9 XL

I honestly think thermometer on a phone is a useful thing to have.

Mannn I remember you way back in the Phonedog days! Keep up the good work!

I'm switching from pixel 6 to 9 pro max! Honestly didn't even feel the need to upgrade but I could use a big screen hehe

I'm so happy that they're sticking with the smaller size and adding the higher end option in the smaller size. I have the regular pixel 7 and it's definitely too big for me. Every time I puck up my old samsung galaxy s10e it feels so good in my hand and I truly miss it. I shudder at the thought that I currently hold googles smallest phone. I would love to have that nice telephoto lens in a thumb friendly device. Hopefully this trend continues for the next few years so when I'm ready to upgrade I won't have to compromise.

A small Pixel 9 Pro would definitely get me to upgrade from my Pixel 6a!

I switched my whole family from iphones to pixels last year. Really happy with the decision. My gf and I travel a lot and the google translate, google lens and circle to search are on a different level; not to mention the customisation and the clipboard, etc - just much more intuitive and smarter. I still use a macbook and i actually don't have any issues with ecosystem, because mac supports google photos, google drive, keepnotes, etc. On top of that, I use a samsung watch 6 classic (i love the rotating bezel) and i wanted to get away from the cheap casio-looking apple watches. Can't wait for the smaller 9 Pro. Finally, there'll be a small phone that has all the high end specs!

I am excited to see where the Google Pixel lineup is heading. The computational photography in the Pixel camera is one of the most advanced mobile computing breakthroughs in the last decade, and it has moved the entire industry forward and now with Al they are leading.

All they did was figure out how to get to the $999 price point

Matched specs is a game changer.

My 4XL literally died just shy of 4 years. Had the 7 Pro since launch but think I'll trade it for this new 9 Pro. High specs with smaller screen is so much better as modern flagships are just too big imo
  • I was thinking of going for the 8A, but now I’m just going to wait!

I have the pixel fold....Like it But going back to a iPhone. Android is the whole issue for me personally. New design is a little too square. But I love flat screens for everything. I can't stand curved edges on the screen.

Curious if Instagram will finally bridge the gap in video quality between iPhones and Androids. The quality once uploaded to Instagram from Android is disappointing

Smaller Pro is good. Even better would be Pixel 9 mini, with something like 5.5-5.6" screen - I really grave for a smaller midranger.
