Usagi becomes Winged Serenity

At this point in the series, Usagi is tired of fighting. She has destroyed so many villains, with her powers. They never had a chance to redeem themselves, aside the Ayakashi Sisters who were given a chance to live as humans with the Silver Crystal's healing powers. I used to reject this series thinking Usagi was weak, but in fact, she was strong to not fight. She had enough of hurting people. She is the Senshi that brings people together, and she didn't want to keep doing it. She wanted to a find a way to save the world without causing more hurt.

It's a shame Sailor Cosmos wasn't properly written into the 90s version. They changed the story so much. Very excited for Sailor Moon Cosmos!

Definitely - the shadowed figure is Sailor Cosmos - Serenity gets wings when she takes the sword though- that's who I meant!

This takes me back to the early 2000s and watching bootleg sailor moon episode's on YouTube with crappy fansubs and vhs quality, im glad this survived the VIZ purge, thanks for recommending me this YouTube

If anyone is wondering, I quoted this directly from Sailor Cosmos's page on the Sailor Moon Wiki: "Sailor Cosmos does not appear at all in the anime, though many fans have mistaken a screenshot silhouette of the Light of Hope for Sailor Cosmos." I thought the silhouette was Cosmos, too, at first, but it isn't. Which makes me question why it looks so much like Usagi, with the odangos and wings. Maybe the Light of Hope can take the form of whoever cherishes it? If that makes any sense. XD

Sailor Cosmos is Usagi alternate reality version of her future self. It's confusing but If you check it up you know It's true! She is kinda the embodiment of the cosmos and love If you think of it!

Sailor Cosmos is the form Usagi takes on after Neo Queen Serenity.

I remember from the original English releases (official? I think so, but can't confirm; I sold my set for desparately needed cash to a collector that hopefully still appreciates them) of the manga reading that Cosmos was thenform of Serenity that had run away from the final battle against Chaos. This was after losing her friends and prince, and having been isolated from them even before that for reasons icr. And had been running-fighting-running from Chaos ever since. Until there was nothing left in the universe that Chaos hadn't devoured, growing ever stronger while she grew weaker and more lonely. . So she found a way to send herself, in the form of Chibi-Chibi, back to the past to comfort Sailor Moon when she was lonely and lost and frightened, so that her past-self would have some emotional support to bolster her courage. . The anime was different, ofc, with Chibi-Chibi being Galaxia's star seed that Galaxia cast out in a last-ditch effort to protect it when she sealed Chaos inside her body but realized it was taking her over, and Chibi-Chibi found it's way to the light of Sailor Moon. This difference caused confusion and fan-wars, as such things do. . Oooooor maybe I'm totally misremembering and confusing this for the plot of a fanfic, who can say at this point! xD

Sailor cosmos is in the manga, in the anime she doesn't exist. the figure that transforms sailor moon by giving her wings is actually Galaxia's star seed

I’m getting the Light of Hope pink butterfly as a tattoo next month! I just love what Galaxia did, releasing her star seed before she let Chaos consume her, and having faith that one day the Light of Hope would find the key to defeating Chaos. ❤️

obviously that shining star once in galaxia is sailor cosmos you can barely see a glimps of a sailor suit in the shadows that are cover her and she also has the buns that look like chibi chibis buns (hearts) so explained sailor cosmos is chibi chibi and that figure that looks exactly like cosmos is cosmos (mind blown)

If we seeing this for what it is, Serenity is clearly the person talking to her past self.

I heard a statement based on the manga that Sailor Cosmos is an alternate form of Chibi Chibi. It appeals to me, as she has the same heart-shaped buns on her head, whereas Usagi does not.

It would be cool if she turned Neo Queen Serenity instead

In the manga Galaxia just dies being consumed by Chaos from what I've heard.

It's Sailor Cosmos and no one knows exactly who she is except that is some part of usagi. Parhaps Serenity from and alternate future where galaxia and chaos has taken over.

My OC, Dark Moon. Twin sister of Moon. She gave Moon her own star seed and her half of the silver crystal, knowing she alone could light up the galaxy.
