    - Are you glad you are no longer Kendall? - Yeah uh uhm yeah uh I uh look He is still Kendall.

This show doesn’t exist without the writing. So glad that Jeremy Strong said that, and made that point.
  • I never felt this sorry for a character in TV show like I did for Kendall. I am aware of all his flaws and shortcomings. But I think it's the performance of Jeremy strong that made me feel devastated for Kendall. In awe of his performance and infact all the three siblings.

Jeremy did a phenomenal job on the show - A serious guy in a serious role. Very well done, man!

The way he said "I'm the eldest boy" and the whole monologue after that, it came across as funny and painful at the same time, like I initially laughed and after letting it settle in, understood that he's a shell of a man who only has one thing going for him, for it to be taken from him essentially takes everything away. Beautiful. Truly one of the best pieces of TV since Breaking bad.

Jeremy is so superb in this final episode. Just incredible.
  • I am still processing the final episode. That hand-touch scene between Shiv and Tom is one of those scenes I will never forget.

I still haven’t recovered from the final episode. 💔 This is the best show on television. Best writing. Best acting. Great to hear the thoughtful perspective on the show from Jeremy Strong. Best interview Anderson has done in a while.

So, so good. "I'm the eldest boy!" just gives me chills. The tragedy of it all.

The fact that he goes out of his way multiple times to appreciate the work of the writers says it all for me. Team Kendall and Jeremy Strong all the way.
  • @milolll
He still hasn't come out of it, that is a great performance.

That non holding hands hand hold says sooooo much! Everything and everyone in the show was utterly amazing! Now that it's over, time to binge from the beginning.

I appreciate how seriously Jeremy Strong takes his craft. I was heartbroken when the show ended - similar to how I felt when Six Feet Under ended

I think the choice for the writers to have Kendall say “I’m the eldest BOY” is just so perfect. They all are just children playing dress up make-believe

I love the fact that they all sound like their characters when speaking. Initially I thought all the "sort of"s and filler words were baked into the script but no thats really how they talk. The actor that plays Greg really says those awkward funny lines too. Just saw an interview with him. Why is this show ending? 😩

I was struck by Anderson Cooper's comment on Roman looking at his martini, alone in a bar, that moment will be forever in my mind. The lighting was gorgeous, lit like a Renaissance painting, the look on Roman's face akin to the Mona Lisa, impossible to know what he thinking. Every moment of the series was brilliant, but the finale was one for the ages.

I don't remember any show or a movie (except from some masterpieces from the 70s, 80s, 90s) in which EVERY DETAIL is so meaningful. I don't remember when was last time when people analyzed the way characters hold hands, because such a simple gestures had a meaning. Or what two, three words they spoke. Everything in this show is thought thru and so carefully put together. And all of that with almost no CGI, without any bombastic tricks - just genius writing, acting, camera work and music. Such a refreshing return to the basics in this time of sensory overload cinema and TV. One of the best show ever made!

That smile Kendall lets out after the swim .. It lit up the night. Heart-shattering 💀💀

It’s a testament to the show’s quality and influence on the culture that the brilliant Jeremy Strong is here being interviewed by Anderson and also a way for us fans to somewhat recover from the tragedy of that series finale. Jeremy has an earnestness and intelligence about him that fascinates and impresses me, and his performance in this finale and in this series has been nothing short of incredible. And I love that he mentioned how the writing is paramount especially with the current strike. Going to miss this show.
