  • This is what made MJ a worldwide musical king! The song is about uniting everyone worldwide against the things that divide us. If you get the chance look at the lyrics "Am I invisible cause you ignore me? Your Proclamation promised me free liberty. I'm tired of being a victim of shame! They're throwing me in a class with a bad name. I can't believe this is the land from which I came." MJ was one of if not the most vocal celebrities taking about and trying to do something about the problems of the world. His world tours weren't just concerts he would visit hospitals and meet with politicians try to help the common people. He gave away 500 million dollars in his lifetime. No one is doing what he was doing and despite all that the only thing the media pushed was that MJ was some Hollywood boogeyman.

The back story to have this video got made is amazing, too. They had to ask the local crime lord to assure Michael's safety, and he was such a big MJ fan that he guaranteed his safety.

There's a (Prison Version) it's super graphic which is why it was banned from multiple television channels & countries when he first premiered/released that version of the Short Film. The music industry, media etc. really didnā€™t want people to see the prison version because it shows the true meaning of "They Donā€™t Care About Us" being about the racial injustices against African Americans by police/cops and just in general. Which explains why the Brazil Version is more popular than the Prison Version. He did face ALOT of backlash for it but MJ always had a message, was clearly fed up and just did what was the right thing to do. And as we can see and feel, the song's message as well as both versions of the Short Film/Music Video still applies to the worldā€˜s current status. Michael was truly a innovative human being a once in a lifetime visionary Long Live The King Of Music Forever!šŸ‘‘ā¤šŸŒŸšŸ’Æ(Definitely would recommend reacting to Michael Jackson "Earth Song" Music Video and definitely get around to reacting to "They Don't Care About Us (Prison Version)" Music Video as well!)
  • @Oldschoolnana
No bad bad version of Michael exists.šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š Stranger in Moscow is a must.ā¤
  • Smooth Criminal is arguably his best music video of all time. Featuring so many iconic things and aspects regarding him. Not a single person has criticizes on it
  • @ricosauve5
The woman who broke through and hugged Mike wasn't part of the script. They just did it. And yes those are real MP police officers. The director of the video liked it so they kept it in the video
  • @LMmccallL57
His song and video "Earth Song"are strong and very touching to many. "Stranger In Moscow" is pretty deep. "Little Susie" is one that makes a lot of people cry. šŸ˜¢
  • Fun fact a gangster of some kind like drug lord who ran the territory had to be asked for permission to film there and etc and as soon as he was told it was Michael Jackson he agreed immediately and stated you could leave a pile of drugs guns or money there and not a single person would dare to touch it and everyone was guaranteed safety
  • @ViVaLaRan
THE KING, GREATEST OF ALL TIME Please do SCREAM next! Amazing duet song with his sister Janet, also the most expensive music video of all time TO THIS DAY!! MUCH LOVE LONG LIVE THE KING ā™„
  • @mr.o6240
Spike Lee directed both versions of this video. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘šŸ¾
  • PLEASE react to a 'peak' Michael Jackson's 1988 Grammy's live performance. He did 'Man in the Mirror' and a jazzy 'The Way You Make Me Feel', pretty please lol love the reactions guys, love from Ireland!
  • @adny02
I love when Micheal Jackson let the talents around him shine. Sometimes it's not just about him, and he knows that. Let the people around him have their day! :)
  • Black or White is another very iconic MJ music video and was directed by the same guy who directed Thriller. It was very ground breaking at the time and it features a famous actor. It's also a great song which spent 7 weeks at the top of the U.S. charts, released in 1991 you will both love it! Great reaction by the way, They don't care about us has always been on of my favourites and i'm so glad you reacted to it.
  • @Slashovic
performer, composer, author and producer of the song... Michael Jackson. The King of Pop.
  • Fun fact about this song : This song caused a lot of controversy and MJ had to re record the song and shot one of the music videos here in Brazil , but this part of Brazil was owned by a really big drug lord and it wasnā€™t safe so MJ team got in contact with the drug lord and asked permission to film the MV there and he agreed the drug lord was a big fan of MJšŸ¤˜šŸ¼
  • Michael released this track in 1996, and it's from his HIStory album released in 1995 after the false allegations in 1993. The album has many personal songs relating to the allegations such as this one where he is empathising with victims of the system, as he was a victim of it himself. Here is his actual quote explaining the song: "The song is in fact about the pain of prejudice and hate and is a way to draw attention to social and political problems. I am the voice of the accused and the attacked. I am the voice of everyone. I am the skinhead, I am the Jew, I am the Black Man, I am the White Man."
