EDWARD FURLONG: Hitting Rock Bottom, Taking Terminator for Granted & Finding the Joy in Living Sober

Saw him at a gas station in WeHo not long again and said hi. He stood and chatted for a good 10 minutes with me. Dude’s the man.

We need an Edward furlong comeback where he comes back hella lean and fit and becomes an absolute chad and reclaims his acting career

This dude in my opinion was the best kid actor of all time.. His performance in T2 is beyond incredible, he should've won an oscar. His range from being a badazz teen, the coolest of cool.. to super angry, and bratty.. to super relatable, and emotional... to being extremely funny, with one liners. He had it all.. and arguably has more iconic lines in that film than Arnold, and that's saying something being Arnold is the king of one liners.... "I ORDER YOU NOT TO GO!"

After Ke Huy Quan won the Oscar it just shows any actor who hasn't been doing that much lately can revive their careers if they just get that 1 role they're perfect for. Don't give up the fight Eddie.

Wow seeing Furlong and Downey jr. and SteveO get Sober and seeing them get Completely clean is amazing. So many people Never recover.. so proud of you Edward!

He's been a punchline and the subject of memes for years. Mad respect to him for getting sober and being willing to talk so honestly on camera.

I met Edward Furlong at Rhode Island Comic-Con last year. I was wearing a two-piece Avatar: The Last Airbender sweatshirt and sweatpants. It was pretty late in the day, so I think I was the second person to come up to him after he returned from a photo shoot with Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. We shook hands and I greeted him and he was really friendly. He also seemed kinda tired, but that was probably because he was taking photos with fans the whole day. I picked out a picture of him off the table for him to autograph and I told him I wanted him to write to me "Chill Out, Dickwad." He wrote it with a dark grey pen and handed it back to me. I noticed that he got one of the letters in my name wrong and he actually offered to redo it, this time with a gold pen so it didn't blend in so much. I emptied the rest of my wallet out for him and thanked him with a salute. So glad he's doing better. I want to become a writer after graduating from college and I hope to get into the movie making business. If I ever do, I'd love for the chance to get to work with Edward. Stay positive man. 👍

as a kid, watching T2 I wished I was Jon Connor..Edward Furlong, as a kid w/ zero acting experience played him so relatable and bad ass.

In addition to T2, he was also great in American History X.

This is dope, I met Edward Furlong outside of an LA courthouse over 10 years ago.. we both had cases we were fighting and I'm happy to say I'll be 6 years sober this July! This interview meant a lot and things came around full fold, thank you!

You gave him a platform to be able to really tell his story, somethings he's probably needed for a while. His story is tragic. Groomed as a child by his tutor from T2, who he had a relationship with for years, emancipated from his parents as a teen, thrown away by hollywood, turned to drugs, made horrible mistakes. Glad to hear he's good with his son now & that he & monica are sober.

He's gradually looking a lot better. You can tell he's much more 'with it' mentally and that's really great to see.

Born in the 80s grew up in the 90s. There wasn't a girl in the 90s who didn't love Edward Furlong! My sister and her friends had the posters on the walls, everything! Dude was huge! Glad he's in a good space for himself now! Can't wait to see him in a show or movie!

I agree. Edward Furlong should write his bio & make it into a movie. He shared his story of getting arrested & going to rehab very well!
