Great video! Can’t wait for the Day Sling to get updated! I’ve seen like 3 other videos on this bag and I could not watch the whole thing because I don’t want to die of boredom. But your video actually keeps me entertained from beginning to end! 👍
  • Absolutely fantastic review! By far the most comprehensive review video I've seen on YouTube in quite some time. Thank you!
  • I rarely comment on YT, but loved this review. Very informative and engaging (and funny at times). Liked that you used example items to show what fits into the pockets (that's always my wonder when buying things online). And loved the alternative recommendations!! Great segment for my ongoing research on what I would like. Thank you!

Purchased the city sling 2 x-pac…. Absolutely love this thing!!! Also pondered the lock… which is quite nice…. Rubber sleeve over the lock… problem solved…. No other mods needed…..

So I got this sling based on your great straight to the point review! Thank you plenty! I did realize the cons as well tho i realized the compression system sorta works when its worn.. aint mad about it.. makes it slimmer agains the bod.. with you on keeping EDC off pockets no need tryna molest pockets tryina look for things.. thank you again!

I've been using the original city sling for a bit over a month now and I've been loving it. I think the big buckle is quite convenient when you want to take off the sling, but I do get that it might be easy for someone else to take it from you. To me the best new features are the tighter divider with the zipper and elastic pockets and the passthrough for the strap/umbrella holder (very ingenious btw). I'm bummed out about buying this right before the new version came out, but I love my City Sling nevertheless. Great video as always guys! Keep up the good work.

Well after watching SEVERAL of your videos, I finally decided to pull the trigger on several AER products. (using your links) I ordered the Xpac of the TP3, and the Xpac CS2. So thank you for your amazing reviews, dope AF humor and I will look forward to seeing your new bag! #subbed

I have the Bellroy Mini Sling and it’s great but I still want this Aer City Sling 2… great video!
  • @kikim6116
I just bought one! Can’t wait to get. I might secure the buckle with a thin something.
  • @Nomad.system
Nice review! Definitely agree on most points but the security part just doesn’t seem like a huge issue to me. At least, it’s a constant that will be a “problem” on just about every sling bag on the market unless they are using some sort of specific anti-theft buckle. I think if someone wants the bag, they will get it but the best way to avoid that is just awareness of where the bag is at when moving through specific areas or regions where theft odds are increased. All in all, this is a worthy update of an already amazing bag, I’m enjoying my x-pac version too to bottom. The updates are spot on and the addition of the pass through in the back increases overall functionality. I could nitpick a couple things (zipper pulls are nice looking but still large and dangling for one), but, like the V1 before it, I’ll be using this one for years to come. Cheers!

There is a zipper pocket in main compartment in the first version. It’s on the front side. I got both and do enjoy the upgrades.
  • @sabanangel
Very good video ... informative and with those touches of humor ... that make it nice to watch👍 ... Good joke at the beginning too...😁

Also i travel to Asia a lot. and Security will always be an issue. even if you wear something that's secured. they can just cut off the string with a sharp blade. Best to do is put the sling bag in front of you and put jacket to cover your back side that's what i do.
  • I have a V1 sling. I saw that comment about it being stolen off someone. I decided to use a duty belt guard, similar to what law enforcement officer use on their duty belts. It stops someone I clipping the duty belt as it covers the clip.
  • Love your reviews. Very detailed, informative and entertaining even. Plus the clarity in displaying the features of products reviewed is top notch. Very recently stumbled on your channel. After watching a good number of your reviews and now this, I'm really torn between getting the Aer City Sling 2 and the Nomatic Navigator Sling 1L. Which of the two would you say makes an all-round better choice for everyday carry? Thanks and keep up the good work. 0:03 0:03 0:03
  • The maximum strap length on City Sling 2 is 46" and it can be adjusted on both sides so you can completely loosen the rear side + tighten the front side of the strap, then the buckle should be in front instead of the back. City Sling 1's strap is much shorter so you can't keep the buckle in front, but it is more suitable for fanny pack mode.

I own V1 and use the back compartment for my cell. With the amount that I carry inside keeps the cell from moving / sliding / falling out. Did they finally fix the problem with V1 concerning the extra webbing once the strap is adjusted? Mine kept sliding back to its initial length
