Love this style. I just recently chopped my hair into a pixie cut long on top and do not want just the puff ball old lady look. I am 62 and very active and want to embrace my gray so this is how I am going to try to quit coloring. I just need to have my bangs cut a bit shorter so I can try this style. I love it and I am a very small person with a small face so short works good for me. Thank you so much for this tutorial.

I’ve saved the Sienna Miller cut image for a long time! This is a fun tutorial for how to get that look. I happen to be able to do it with less work, maybe due to hair fullness. You can do the brushless dry with your fingers if you know how to direction it, that’s the key, and use good paste/piecing products. My mantra is always ‘up in back, forward in front’ just to remind myself of the direction. Thanks for posting!!

Amazing video, your tips are spot on. I'm a former hairstylist, and this is the best most informative self styling tips for a pixie.
  • Omg this is the best pixie I’ve ever seen. I love the way you simply explain how to style it. Best tutorial I’ve seen so far. Thankyou. I’m going to grow mine out and get this type of pixie.

For the most part I think you have the right idea. The only change I'd do is not putting more thermal oil on after. It tends to erase everything you just did. Use more of the products that's intended for piecing out your hair. There are some great ones that aren't heavy at all too. And can last all day. Then use your finishing spay.
