Evercade Alpha Street Fighter First Look At The Games

Great video Ed! I think the inclusion of SF Champion Edition is really necessary because you don't want to be learning the game on SSF2 Turbo if you're new to the series. The three SF Alpha games are nice to have but not essential. Puzzle Fighter II is a nice "on brand" puzzler to include and mix things up a bit. I'm not planning on picking up either of the Alphas because my DIY Jaycade (TATE Edition) Bartop serves my gaming needs better SSFMB :-) Keep up the awesome work!

I've ordered the Street Fighter Alpha. Been looking at bartop arcades for a while, this is the same price as the Arcade1up bartop but also has cart support

I still gotta watch the rest of the video, but I think you played Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting instead of Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure Super SFII Turbo is the one with 4 more characters (Deejay, Cammy, Fei Long and T. Hawk) and updates like new character art in the menu screens. I only know this from the Sega Genesis version though, lol. But I think between Championship Edition and Super SFII Turbo, there’s a pretty good difference to make it worth having both on the Alpha. Meanwhile Hyper Fighting is on the Super Pocket with the awful L2 and R2 buttons lol. But I ordered the SF Alpha so I can finally play those games with an arcade stick (this is my first mini arcade cabinet), and I like the idea of using other carts with it. I’ve bought a bunch of the arcade shooters to get ready!

Im not super into fighter games. But if im gonna get a collection its gonna be street fighter. Ive never been a fan of mk or tekken. I just like the art style of street fighter

While I probably will not buy the Alpha...I did get super drunk one night and ordered an Arcade 1up Marvel Vs Capcom cocktail cabinet. Yep. $350 into the ether

The thing I don't understand about many of the SF2 releases, is why don't they just release, Hyper SF2 Anniversary Edition. Just one game, allows you to play each of the different versions of the characters from all versions of street fighter, in one game, with the speed select. That saves space, and now it's just one game. Alpha 1-3, Have completely different game mechanics so I can understand having all three of those, but then you could add Final Fight, and Slam Masters, because they are all in the same universe, OR since it has Puzzle Fighter, you can also add Gem Fighter/Pocket Fighter. which basically a regular fighting game but with the chibi style drawn characters from Puzzle fighter. But yeah, again, not having HDMI makes this a useless novelty

I love Street Fighter, I have so many ways to play them, including the My Arcade Premium Micro Player, I'm not interested in this one, especially for the size for the price point. Super Street Fighter Monkey Boy🎉🎉

A very cheap PC nobody cares about can run these types of games. A PC with fightcade 2 installed in it is all you need. These games aren't demanding at all. Light weight games.
