Once again we encountered a very stiff north easterly (upstream) wind, that had a very cold edge to it. Water temperature was 9 degrees, air temperature was 11 degrees, although it felt much cooler. The gauge on the upper beat read minus 2 inches.
Jim opted for a 5 foot fast tip on his floating shooting head, and his 15lb maxima ultra green lead to his size 8 junction shrimp double.
The sound of that reel though, purest music.
Another bar of silver in the net too.
