Something I don't understand that isn't discussed except Glenn Kirschner. Cohen is on the stand primarily to show the evidence in this case is the same evidence introduced into Cohen's trial that put him into jail. So why shouldn't the same evidence put Trump in jail?

I think they are being lazy because the defense and the defendant believes that they'll just appeal the judgement and delay, delay, delay things ...as usual.... but will that be possible with a criminal case without putting the defendant in jail while awaiting appeal??
